Authenticate your domain so you can send emails from Fullwhere

If you want to communicate with your customers by email through an address on your domain (e.g.: [email protected]) and manage conversations in Fullwhere, you will need to set up automatic forwarding and authenticate your domain.

This method optimizes the deliverability of your emails. ​

Authenticate your domain via OVH

Log in to your OVHcloud customer area (Manager).

  1. Go to the Web Cloud tab, then click Domain names in the left menu.

  2. Select your domain, then click the DNS Zone tab.

  3. Click the Add an entry button (on the right) and select the CNAME type.

In the Fullwhere interface, the "Name" field includes your domain name. In OVH, you should enter only the prefix, because OVH automatically adds the domain.

1. Add the first entry (DKIM)

  • Subdomain: Copy only the string of characters located before your domain name on the first Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for 2025..._domainkey.your-site.fr, write only 2025..._domainkey).

  • Target: Copy the entire Value field provided by Fullwhere.

  • Validate the entry.

2. Add the second entry (Bounces)

Click Add an entry > CNAME again.

  • Subdomain: Copy only the prefix of the second Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for fw-bounces.your-site.fr, write only fw-bounces).

  • Target: Copy the entire corresponding Value field.

  • Validate the entry.

Once the entries have been added, return to Fullwhere to start validation.


Authenticate your domain via IONOS

Log in to your IONOS customer area at https://my.ionos.fr/arrow-up-right.

  1. In the main menu, select the Domains & SSL section.

  2. Click on the relevant domain name to access its settings.

  3. Click the DNS tab (located in the top navigation bar).

  4. Click the Add a record button and select the CNAME type.

Important:

In the Fullwhere interface, the "Name" field includes your domain name. In IONOS, you should enter only the prefix in the "Host name" field, because IONOS automatically adds the domain.

1. Add the first entry (DKIM)

  • Host name: Copy only the string of characters located before your domain name on the first Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for 2025..._domainkey.your-site.fr, write only 2025..._domainkey).

  • Points to: Copy the entire Value field provided by Fullwhere.

  • Save the entry.

2. Add the second entry (Bounces)

Click Add a record > CNAME again.

  • Host name: Copy only the prefix of the second Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for fw-bounces.your-site.fr, write only fw-bounces).

  • Points to: Copy the entire corresponding Value field.

  • Save the entry.

Once the entries have been added, return to Fullwhere to start validation.


Authenticate your domain via GoDaddy

Log in to your GoDaddy account at https://dcc.godaddy.com/arrow-up-right (Domain Control Center).

  1. In your domain list, locate the relevant domain.

  2. Click the three dots ... next to the domain, then select Manage DNS (or click DNS directly if the button is visible).

  3. Click the Add a new record button and choose the CNAME Type.

Important:

In the Fullwhere interface, the "Name" field includes your domain name. In GoDaddy, you should enter only the prefix in the "Name" field, because GoDaddy automatically adds the domain.

1. Add the first entry (DKIM)

  • Name: Copy only the string of characters located before your domain name on the first Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for 2025..._domainkey.your-site.fr, write only 2025..._domainkey).

  • Value: Copy the entire Value field provided by Fullwhere.

  • TTL: Leave it on "Default" or "1 Hour".

  • Save (or click "Add more records").

2. Add the second entry (Bounces)

Create a new CNAME Type record.

  • Name: Copy only the prefix of the second Fullwhere line.

    (Example: for fw-bounces.your-site.fr, write only fw-bounces).

  • Value: Copy the entire corresponding Value field.

  • TTL: Leave it on "Default".

  • Save the entry.

Once the records have been saved, return to Fullwhere to start validation.
